Meet Hendrik Varju,
Fine
Furniture Designer / Craftsman and
Woodworking Instructor
We are pleased to
have Hendrik Varju at our Show once again this year. Hendrik is a fine furniture
designer and builder who also provides woodworking instruction and seminars.
His seminars are widely know for their quality and thoroughness, taking
amateur woodworkers through all the issues and pitfalls experienced for
successful results.

In addition, Hendrik teaches intensive courses
from 5 to 25 days in length, usually on a private, one-on-one basis.
To find out more visit
www.passionforwood.com, or better yet,
come out to the Show to have a chat with him.
Hendrik is a contributing editor to Canadian Home Workshop and
Canadian Woodworking magazines. He has also been published in
Fine Woodworking magazine, the most authoritative woodworking
magazine in North America.
Hendrik is the author of "Starting and Running a Woodworking Business"
and recently produced his first instructional woodworking DVD
called "Jointer and Planer Secrets."
Both will be available at the Show.
Meet Fred
Zavadil
Award Winning Master Wood Carver and Sculptor
Fred was born in the Czech Republic and
immigrated to Canada in 1989 for political reasons. He is a self-taught
professional carver accepting religions commissions as well as architectural
carving in spectacular show-piece homes and businesses. Fred's work is in
high demand and when one of his pieces makes it into a Gallery (mostly in
Chicago) they are snatched-up quickly.
